Amulet - poem

We travel gently on our mothers arm,
Keep rhythm with her breath,
Tiny gusts of breeze
Like tides from the moon.
Her smile is everything gentle
Like a lifted heart,
And when the wind snatches her words
We trace wishes in the sand.
Each word is strung together to make a necklace

An amulet for us to hold.
