I very much enjoy the mixing of mediums and techniques - this painting was exhibited in BookART13 during the 2013
Ledbury Poetry Festival, at the
Shell House Gallery. The exhibition also featured work by nine other local Ledbury based artists, who as part of the exhibition made a Bookart exhibit. Mine was called 'Night into Day' and this painting of a bird was part of a dawn chorus theme that featured in my book.
I love the way the colours all blend into one another, very soothing, like listening to the dawn chorus, it makes you smile.
